Data collected
Platform customers: authenticated user account data (name, email, role, customer ID), telemetry from the customer's own Modbus devices (operational data, not personal data), and audit log entries describing actions taken in the platform. Marketing site visitors: standard web server access logs (IP, user agent, referrer, path) retained 30 days for security purposes. No analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party cookies are loaded on this marketing site.
Purpose
Customer data is processed to operate the platform under contract with the customer. Marketing site logs are processed for the legitimate interest of detecting abuse and operating the service.
Storage location
Customer data is stored in Azure (West Europe region, Netherlands). Web server logs are stored on application servers in West Europe. No personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area.
Access
Customer data is accessible only to authenticated users of the customer's tenant (enforced by tenant filter on every query) and to platform administrators employed by EC Control (logged in the audit chain). Marketing site logs are accessible only to EC Control engineering staff.
GDPR rights
